Shelby’s back and she’s ready to fight for what she deserves,

even if that means taking out Tessa.

Shelby Killin may have lost the Ordeal to Tessa Morganton—a half-blood werewolf her betrothed chose over her—but she has never been one to go down without a fight.

Determined to find a way to gain back her rightful place beside the new Alpha King of the pack, and win back her mother’s pride, she’ll stop at nothing to rectify the situation. Even if it means resorting to asking one of the most powerful witches in all of New Orleans for help.

Jace and his little play thing Tessa had better watch out, because Shelby is about to show them both why it’s best to never leave a lover scorned.

Also included are TWO bonus scenes from Jace’s point-of-view! One from Marked, and one from Changed!

Review: * * * *

Have you been wondering about Shelby’s point of view in the Marked Duology?  How about Jace’s?  Or what happens between the Wolf Moon and the Epilogue of Changed?  Scorned is where you’ll get all of this.

Scorned details the days after the Wolf Moon in Shelby’s POV, and entails the kind of antics one might expect from Shelby Killin, and a reappearance of a character who made an appearance in the collection Midnight Kisses when it was available, and in Kiss of Awakening, the novella Jennifer contributed to the collection.  An unexpected, but fitting surprise for readers of both series’.  Add to that the two pivotal scenes, one from Marked and the other from Changed, in Jace’s POV, and Scorned is a must for fans of Jennifer, and specifically the Duology.  Maybe we’ll be seeing some more of Shelby’s story? *wink, wink nudge, nudge Jennifer*.

Happy Readings!
